Adam has worked as a physiotherapist in Ballarat for 20 years, bringing with him a refined and unique skill set. Over the past 10 years, he has increasingly recognised the role of behavioural, social, and environmental factors in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Adam utilises a variety of modalities in his physiotherapy care, including manual therapy, dry needling, infrared laser, kinesiology taping, and vagus nerve stimulation. As a certified Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner, he takes a whole-system approach to injury management, health, and well-being, addressing the root causes of injury, disease, and illness.
Sports physiotherapy inspired Adam to pursue a career in physiotherapy, and it has always been a core element of his practice. Since 2008, he has worked with junior and senior elite soccer teams in Ballarat. He also has a strong interest in running injuries, biomechanics, and injury prevention.
Adam has extensive experience in occupational health, providing manual handling training, ergonomic assessments, pre-employment musculoskeletal screening, job site assessments, and risk management strategy development.
